Simon Teakle will host a unique Exhibition of TAFFIN jewelry, designed by James de Givenchy at his gallery off Greenwich Avenue. Simon and James are old friends and colleagues. Simon has always had a great appreciation for James’s contemporary and exquisite designs, which he creates under the brand TAFFIN. “James has always had a fabulous sense of color and design. We are also thrilled to be unveiling a number of new TAFFIN pieces at this exhibition, in particular a 60ct Imperial topaz, diamond and spinel ring created in collaboration by James and Simon. Simon recently took part in an auction for the 2013 Glimmerglass Festival Gala at the Metropolitan Club in Manhattan which raised over $500,000 to benefit young musical artists. Glimmerglass is an Opera company based in Cooperstown on Lake Otsego in New York. They focus on developing young talent and are renowned for their inspiring productions and theatre during the Summer season.
Anna Trzebinski is a rare and talented creative force. Currently living in Nairobi with her husband and daughter, she has always been inspired by the raw beauty of Africa and the spirit of its people. Today working with the Masai and Samburu tribes in her Kenya based workshop, Anna creates a variety of garments as well as her unusual and exotic accessory collections. Each piece is hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind. Feathers as well as beading are signature themes within her designs, which have been recognized by Vogue amongst many other prominent fashion houses and magazines.
Simon Teakle's jewelry tastes are eclectic and far-reaching, and he has always been a strong supporter of Africa, particularly the African conservation charity TUSK which Anna also supports. For Saturday February 9th Simon will host an event showcasing Anna's unique collection alongside his varied jewelry collections at his gallery on 4 Grigg Street in Greenwich. Anna has designed a special and exclusive line of pieces for this day inspired by Simon's tastes.

On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December Simon Teakle took part in the Greenwich Christmas Stroll. The Teakle family are strong supporters of Children International and donated 10% of all sales over that weekend to this inspiring charity.
